Our People

Kathie Sadler, CEOGPTQ has a workforce of 118 – this includes 55 Medical Educators and 63 support staff.
Our management and support staff are made up of the following teams: Corporate Services; Training Program Management; Medical Education Delivery; and Support Services.
Corporate Services
The Corporate Services team manages the effective day-to-day running of GPTQ operations.
This includes: finance; legislation compliance and risk mitigation; delivery of high performance IT platforms and applications; data analysis to shape and target valuable interactions with both Registrars and stakeholders; and, strategic relationship and brand building.
Medical Education Delivery
The delivery of our medical education and training activities is the responsibility of the Medical Education Delivery team. From devising responsive curriculum and managing its delivery through the GPTQ District and Hub Model, through to providing one-on-one support and mentoring for trainees and undertaking important education research, the team is always seeking to better GP education and training.
Support Services
Support Services works across Training Program Management and Medical Education Delivery to enable the effective, efficient and compliant delivery of our education and training. The team supports Training Program Management in the provision of advice and guidance for Registrars and the coordination of accreditation requirements with the colleges and for training practices. The team supports Medical Education Delivery through the organisation and management of workshops and activities for Registrars, ECT visitors, Supervisors and Practice Managers.
Training Program Management
Ensuring that our training programs are meeting individual Registrar needs as well as achieving the standards of excellence in General Practice education required by the Federal Government and the colleges is fundamental to GPTQ’s success. The Training Program Management team co-ordinates the delivery of all GPTQ education training programs, including selection of applicants, placements and accreditation of training facilities.
